Free support, guidance and discounted certification during Charities Cyber Essentials Awareness Month.
At nTrust, we’re excited to participate in Charities Cyber Essentials Awareness Month 2024 by offering discounted Cyber Essentials certification throughout October. This initiative aims to help charities boost their cyber resilience and safeguard their data from potential threats.
According to the Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2024, approximately one-third of charities (32%) have experienced a cyber security breach or attack in the last 12 months. This figure rises significantly to 66% for high-income charities with annual incomes over £500,000, highlighting the urgent need for improved security measures.
As part of this month-long awareness campaign, nTrust will be collaborating with the Cyber Essentials Delivery Partner, IASME, and the National Cyber Security Centre to educate charities about the cyber threats they face and how they can benefit from Cyber Essentials certification.
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed certification scheme that sets out five essential technical controls to protect against the most common internet-based cyber security threats. It is designed for organisations of all sizes and helps ensure basic protection against a wide range of cyber attacks. The certification is renewed annually, providing ongoing reassurance that an organisation’s systems are safeguarded.
If you’re a registered charity and sign up for Cyber Essentials certification between October 1st and 31st 2024, you’ll receive a special discount on the price of certification. To take advantage of this promotion, charities can apply starting from October 1st by contacting us.
