It was no accident that we chose to sponsor and judge the Best Customer Service Award at this year’s Reigate & Banstead Business Awards.
We believe that excellent customer service should be at the heart of every business. It’s an essential ingredient for any company that wishes to prosper and grow.
We know what excellent customer service looks like
nTrust is proud of its 97% client retention and that our first client from 2003 is still with us, so we felt well placed to judge the applications submitted by local businesses.
Judging wasn’t an easy task as the quality was extremely high, but there was a common theme that separated the good from the great and that was down to how the businesses interacted with their customers during the pandemic.
Several of the businesses had to close their premises during lockdown and had huge challenges of their own to deal with, but this didn’t stop them going above and beyond to take exceptional care and consideration for the impact that Covid was having on their customers and finding innovative ways to stay in touch, continue to deliver their services and even attract new customers.
The three worthy finalists were chosen, Café Chai, Emilia’s Clothing Boutique and Your Finance Team
But there can only be one winner. There was one business that gave numerous examples of the extraordinary lengths and detail they go to to provide excellent customer service.
At the awards dinner, Russ McKenzie, MD of nTrust, announced the winner of Best Customer Service as Café Chai and presented the award to a very happy owner, Cathy Miller, who had brought her team along to say a special thank you to them for their commitment and tremendous effort.
