We’re delighted to welcome Dean, who brings a wealth of customer service experience from the retail sector and passion for IT to land his dream job with nTrust on our IT Support desk.
He’s been able to swap erratic working patterns and often repetitive and monotonous tasks in the retail sector, for a consistent working pattern, tackling unique and interesting problems every day, with time to actually investigate and find solutions.
Dean has always loved technology and envisioned a career in IT, so in his own time achieved CompTIA A+ certification and is currently studying towards the CompTIA Network+, with support from nTrust.
All our technical staff have a continual professional development plan, which is one of the benefits that caught Dean’s eye when he was looking for a local IT company to join.
Dean said, “From the job posting they presented themselves as a small business of people who really cared about making sure the customers are happy. It was clear that this wasn’t going to be a corporate call-centre job and I’d actually get the opportunity to “get my hands dirty”, so-to-speak.”
In Dean’s previous role being able to quickly build a rapport with customers and make sure they felt heard and appreciated was essential. This has directly transferred across as he now interacts with daily with clients on the IT Support desk.
