The problem
This recruitment consultancy was expanding- setting up a new office and moving their Head Office at the same time. Staff would need to access their business software from both new offices. The company had two very old servers that needed to be upgraded. Recruitment consultancies deal with private and confidential data, much like health agencies, childrens’ services, financial consultants and accountancy practices. The security and protection of personal data is paramount for such businesses, so an ageing server was giving cause for concern.
How we helped
nTrust installed a new server, along with a leased line in the new office to guarantee a constant high speed internet connection for the business. We installed a terminal server and fibre broadband in the new branch office and set up a virtual private network between the two offices.
